Is that 12:00 Noon – central time, mountain time, eastern…?
Good question. It is Eastern time and I have updated the post accordingly. Thanks.
We are launching a whole new Kids Worship format in September. It has been months in the making and we are super excited to get going.
Cool! I’d love to hear more about it.
Looking forward to children’s worship with a few new twists for fall!
Great. Mixing it up really helps keep the kids engaged.
What I’m looking forward to most is moving from a “portable” church to our own facility and how the facility can be used to interest children into learning about God. Yes, the facility is a tool that will be utilized, like the resources available in this 144 Deal.
I don’t know that I could ever do a portable church. I’m glad you’re finally getting to move into a more permanent space.
looking forward to trying out a new curriculum in the kids midweek program. also our special kids weekend which is taking place in Oct.
I’d love to hear more about your “special kids weekend” you’re having. Also, what new curriculum are you using?
We will be doing Iginition Kids Curriculm . Its a new curriculm that will be released in the spring of 2012. We will be doing a test run for them. check out the website. He also has a brand new kids cd out. http://ignitionkids.com/fr_contact.cfm. We are planning a kids outreach weekend in oct with special guest Angela Brinson from Clay Ministries. we will be having some leadership training and some kids events reaching out to the community. check her out on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/pages/CLAY-Ministries/156612347738935. blessings
Awesome. I’ve not heard of either of those, so that means I get to check out something new. 🙂
I am attending full-time seminary in the fall to help me be more Biblical, Theologically and Personal sound as the year grows.
Very great. Biblical knowledge and life application are extremely important in the life of a leader and of the students. Glad you’re taking that step.
I am looking forward to my second year with our preteens. Currently evaluating several curriculum options, so they don’t feel like it’s the ‘same thing all over again’.
Not sure if you saw it or not, but included in this Only 144 deal is 13 weeks of preteen curriculum. Plus everything else you get for less than $100.
Might I also suggest you take a look at Flyte by Lifeway? http://www.lifeway.com/n/Product-Family/FLYTE It is a very engaging preteen curriculum. I haven’t used it myself, but I’ve checked out the samples and it looks pretty solid.
This is a seriously good deal.
It is a seriously good deal
Working with my wife, the praise leader, to create a special family service in October.
Not sure how big your church is, but if you’re looking for any advice on running a Family Experience service, I offer my suggestions in this post series http://www.smalltownkidmin.com/2011/small-church-fx/ Not to claim that we do it the best, but this is what has worked for us.
I am so excited about this deal. I am a Children’s Pastor and I’m learning everyday. My budget is small, and these deals are awesome!!! Thanks
I work with a pretty tiny budget as well, but when I told my pastor about this deal he was more than willing to let me purchase it.
Thanks for the info on “only 144”. I had never heard of them before. Seems like it’s going to be an awesome resource. I am looking forward to seeing our children’s ministry grow in the area of consistent discipleship this year. Like so many other churches we have a hard time getting committed volunteers for the children’s ministry. As a result continuity and discipleship has really suffered. I’m praying God will provide us with those who understand how important it is to reach these kids and help lay the foundation before they reach those teenage years.
It’s a bummer that you missed out on their first two deals, because they were pretty good as well. Keep doing your work well and casting vision and people will be jumping at the chance to get on board. See if you can get your senior pastor to cast vision for the children’s ministry as well. This goes a long way in getting people involved and sticking around.
I’m looking forward to restarting the children’s ministry at our church and having not just the kids but the adults excited and burning with a desire for Christ! I know God has something great for each of us and instead of complaining about what we lack at our church we are going to step up and be willing to serve! 🙂
Let that excitement grow! When you struggle with what you lack, remember Phillipians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. As long as you have the Holy Spirit on your side, you cannot go wrong.
I love the idea of the bundles. For those of us who do not have a large volunteer staff, it is great to have these bundles that we can use for several age groups!
I love the spread of material in this as well. There is something for preschool, elementary, and preteens as well as recruitment and training resources. It is amazing what just a few volunteers can do when they are led well and fully equipped.
I am looking forward to our first kids camp this coming summer. As well as working with our teen leaders who are beginning to help in our children’s ministry.
I sent my first group of kids to camp this summer. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I started 3 years ago and it was exciting for me and them.
To your second point, the more teen and children’s ministries work together, the healthier our churches will be. Way to take that step.
I am looking forward to starting a new mid week curriculum in a few weeks, have a special 2 day kids service in Sept, a camp out in Oct, our Christmas Play and next year is going to be a themed, we will be looking for “Heroes”!
Wow. You have lots going on. What curriculum are you planning to use with your midweek?
im looking forward to building our childrens ministry in the next year. we have only been a church for a year and we only have five kids right now. we are doing outreaches in the town and schools and are looking forward to growth.
Good luck.
WOW……this deal is rockin! Whoever wins is going to be blessed with a bunch of really cool stuff! Hope its MD.
I wish I could give one away to everyone, but even those that have to purchase it will find that it is a great deal.
We’re looking forward to building our mentoring programs for at-risk kids and developing our preteen and youth ministries.
Mentoring is a largely overlooked but necessary and effective tool for reaching the lost (and for helping them stay strong in the faith). Good work.
Just sneaking in under the deadline! What awesome resources! I can see using them in many ways! We are looking to expand many ministries this year across the US! We are especially excited about our training seminars!
Wow. You’re cutting it close.
