Recently, I talked about one of the tricky subjects around Christmas that is addressed in the Why Do We Call It Christmas? curriculum. I have also been asked by the What’s in the Bible? curriculum team to give a set away. You read that right, they believe in the product so much that they want to give one away to a church.
With Christmas right around the corner, this is a great way to score some fabulous Christmas curriculum for your kids’ ministry. I love hearing what others are doing, so leave me a comment in the comment section telling me what creative thing you are doing for Christmas this year. How will you use the Christmas season to minister to the kids and families in your ministry?
For an additional chance to win, tweet the following: “@pastorjaredm is giving away a free copy of the Why Do We Call it Christmas? curriculum. http://wp.me/p1lgcL-hX #kidmin.” Leave a comment letting me know, just in case I don’t see it.
If you don’t have twitter, use your Facebook with the above message and make sure you leave me a comment telling me.
I will close the entries on Monday, November 28 at noon (CST), which gives you the whole Thanksgiving weekend to enter. Good luck and let’s hear some great ideas!
We are planning to go to the retirement home up the street with homemade gifts and sing carols…
tweeted it.. fingers crossed. 🙂
We’re pumped for our christmas program this year for our children, it’s a little less intense and they’re really going to enjoy putting on a show for the adults and their families.
We’re using the movie for ‘Why do we call in christmas’ in our SS, would have loved to have the church edition, but we couldn’t budget it this time around. Looking forward to sharing the movie with my SS kiddos tho, they’re going to think it’s awesome and are already huge fans of Buck Denver.
We’ll also be having two Birthday Parties for Jesus, one with our outreach ministry and another in our Sunday School. Lots of creative fun there.
oh, and we’ve just had a movie night with our outreach ministry and showed VeggieTales ‘the little drummer boy’, which was a hit!
Just moved to a new church, this curriculm would be a great help for our childrens ministry here. We are doing a mid week outreach christmas night for our children and also doing a traditional christmas musical with the kids…
